This is a stunning song by the band Hodila Izba — a unique reconstruction of Russian folk traditions, reimagined through the pulse of modern drum & bass.

The authors weave a search for the ancient within tradition, embodied in the drawn character Tatyana (Tatyanochka), who comes alive on screen. She becomes a guide for young women, leading them through history and the legacy of national music — from the life of the grandmother to encounters with metaphysical states.

The bathhouse (banya) becomes a symbol of rebirth, of the village, of the past, while the music bridges the ancient with the contemporary and even the future.

We play with folkloric chants and merge them with a narrative style that leans into abstract pop-art. The story does not rely on mere symbolism, but rather transforms into true symbolism, where the animated character Tatyana becomes our conductor through time and meaning.
